| | | | Raymos Pawn & Gold will be celebrating its 39th year in business in the city of Leavenworth in January 2011. However, the history of Raymos dates back to 1970, when the companies founder Bob Raymos began their family business loaning on jewelry, firearms and other items of value out of a small variety store. As the city of Leavenworth has grown, so has the jewelry and pawnbrokering buisness. With the store located in downtown Leavenworth, Raymos has served members of the community for generations. The family business is now overseen by Christin R. Raymos, Graduate Gemologist, (G.I.A). After graduating with a degree from Pittsburg State University, Christin went on to further his studies at the Gemological Institute of America in New York City where he earned a Graduate Gemologist diploma.
